I created this program after repeatedly being asked for advice from other parents, who pointed out that I do things differently than others, and being constantly commended how well my approach works. We have managed to find an equilibirum in our lives, without medication, by working with the ADHD.
Other parents had the same experience as I had - they tried therapy, but were given a whole bunch of homework that required putting particular time aside and completing activities, that saw very little results (and it was very difficult to get done in the first place, due to the ADHD!) And some people don't have access to therapy. So there was a need for this program.
I had figured out what actually works, and I could save others from the years of struggle trying to figure it all out.
We do things differently around here. This program is intentionally easy to impliment. It has been created with the knowledge that:
- Insight and understanding naturally create change.
- It's always easier to stop doing things, or shift how we are doing things, than to add more things onto a to-do list.
- It's best to use simple and easy strategies rather than ones requiring drastic change or immense effort.
- Use simple actions with big results, rather than big actions with mediocre results...
- Understanding, and working with ADHD, is the easiest, fastest, most effective approach to managing ADHD

When you understand the ADHD brain, ADHD energy and ADHD needs, it is possible to work with it, mitigate many of the negative aspects, and focus on the many positive strengths that it offers. ADHD people are some of the most creative, insightful, inventive, successful and unique people on the planet.
ADHD is not something that is broken, or needs fixing. When unmanaged, it can feel really difficult to the person (particularly with overwhelming thoughts, emotions and self-image), and it can inconvenience others. It needs managing. But ADHD is just one aspect of a person.
